1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Sataksan ("the Service"), operated by Sataksan ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sataksan provides astrological calculation tools including planetary hours, lunar phases, planetary sign positions, retrograde tracking, Moon void-of-course periods, and an astrological reagent catalog. The Service is available through our website at sataksan.com and may in the future be available through mobile applications.

3. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing an email address and/or phone number and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Sataksan offers optional paid subscription plans that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) at the rate displayed at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems; using the Service to transmit harmful code or interfere with other users; scraping, data mining, or automated access beyond normal use; impersonating any person or entity; or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of Sataksan are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission. Astrological data and calculations generated by the Service are provided for your personal use only.

Sataksan provides astrological calculations and information for educational and entertainment purposes only. The Service does not constitute professional advice of any kind — medical, financial, legal, or otherwise. Astrological information should not be used as a substitute for professional judgment or decision-making. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any astrological interpretation.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sataksan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers for payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Twilio SendGrid), SMS messaging (Twilio), and advertising (Google AdSense). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law — will survive.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
